Troy Phelan serves as the Director of Engineering at SunSmart Engineering, a role that brings exciting challenges and variety every day. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Troy joined SunSmart Engineering in June 2024, after being strongly encouraged by John to take the leap. Before joining SSE, Troy founded Greentech Design Services in 2019, building it into a successful operation before navigating the complexities of corporate politics.
With expertise in solar energy and manufacturing, Troy thrives on constantly learning and adapting to new technologies and innovations in the field. His dedication and passion for his work have earned him plenty of "high fives" along the way.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys building custom Jeeps, combining his engineering expertise with creativity and craftsmanship.
