With a career spanning over a decade, John has held numerous leadership roles, consistently driving innovation and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve impactful results.

Since joining SunSmart Engineering in March 2024, John has directed a team of skilled professionals specializing in renewable energy technologies. He spearheads strategic business development, ensures compliance with industry regulations, and leads initiatives to expand market presence while maintaining a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Materials Science from the University of Central Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in multiple states, including Florida, Texas, California, Arizona, and Nevada, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. His expertise encompasses solar energy systems, product design, applications engineering, and codes and standards compliance.

In his prior roles, John has made significant contributions to organizations like Magen eco-Energy, where he led operations, engineering, and product development for North American markets. His achievements include authoring a company-wide operations manual, developing proprietary engineering software, and overseeing large-scale solar energy projects in both residential and commercial sectors.
